BellyDance
BellyDance Workshops ($35 non-members / $25 Registered Members)
These workshops are designed for beginners but all levels are welcome. In this fun-filled two-hour session you will learn the basics of BellyDance. Whether you're trying it for the first time or you just want to practice your skills, this is the session for you! Classes are kept to a minimum so as to allow for individual attention. This will be a Technique and Choreography workshop with the emphasis mostly on technique. That means we will work on dissecting moves, and then when we're comfortable we'll put them into a small choreography. If you are interested in learning about this art form I encourage you to try all of our classes and some workshops - you'll learn something new in each one. If you are interested in moving on to an intermediate level these classes will adequately prepare you. If you're just in it for having fun, we will delive! Whatever the reason for taking our classes you will become more aware of your body, your muscles, your breathing, coordination, and you may even notice yourself moving with a little extra grace.
